Pleating is the signature technique of I was a Sari jewellery. Women artisans in Mumbai fold pre-loved sari fabric by hand into airy, sculptural shapes, then finish each piece with beads and metal details. The result: bold, lightweight earrings and necklaces, each one of a kind.
