Dans la collection I was a Sari, le kimono est une pièce fluide plutôt qu'un vêtement rigide. Ouvert sur le devant, avec des manches larges et une ceinture en tissu, il épouse naturellement le corps. Choisissez un kimono court ou un kimono imprimé, tous deux fabriqués à partir de saris upcyclés.
Une pièce légère à porter par-dessus, sans fermeture fixe. Son devant ouvert et sa ceinture en tissu amovible vous laissent choisir la silhouette. Chez I was a Sari, cette coupe traditionnelle est réinterprétée à travers des textiles de sari réutilisés.
Le kimono est volontairement déstructuré. Les manches larges créent du volume sans rigidité, et la ceinture se noue lâche ou serrée à la taille : il convient ainsi à toutes les morphologies.
Chaque kimono utilise un tissu de sari existant, sélectionné et retravaillé par des artisanes de Mumbai. Les variations de couleur, de motif et de texture font partie du design, ce ne sont pas des défauts.
Portez-le sur une robe, un pantalon ou un simple top à fines bretelles. Ouvert, il apporte du mouvement ; ceinturé, il dessine la silhouette. C'est aussi un couvre-maillot parfait avec un paréo.

All measurements are body girth, in centimetres, with 1cm of ease already built in.

Between two sizes? Go by your chest measurement first for tops, or hips for bottoms, see the notes below.
Use a soft tape, wear light clothing, and keep the tape level all the way around.
Wrap the tape around the fullest part of your chest, level across the back. Keep it snug, not tight, and read the measurement where the tape meets.
Find your natural waistline, usually the narrowest point of your torso. Don't hold your stomach in, keep the tape level and comfortably snug.
Stand with feet together and wrap the tape around the fullest part of your hips and seat, straight and level front to back.
