Every piece was once a sari. See the next ones first.

What you'll see first

Pieces with a past, made to be worn now

Each sari has its own print, colour and wear. We design around it, so no two pieces come out the same.

How a sari becomes I was a Sari

Three steps, many hands

  1. Collected

Pre-loved saris that would otherwise be thrown away are gathered in India.

  2. Redesigned

Our designers work with each sari's print and its flaws, not against them. Offcuts are reused.

  3. Hand-made

Women artisans in Mumbai cut, stitch and finish every piece, on fair wages.
