SHIPPING POLICY

All orders are processed within 2-5 days excluding holidays and Sunday. A shipment confirmation mail will be sent to you once we ship your order.

All customers are given the choice between Indian Registered Post or UPS for shipping.
Also note, depending on the country of delivery, you may incur additional customs delays, duties and taxes. Duties and taxes are determined by the customs agency within the destination country. Although charges are not always incurred, assessment of duties and taxes will be based on the value of the order and the tax-free threshold, if it exists, for goods imported into the destination country. Payment of any duties and taxes is the responsibility of the recipient, and these fees are collected at the time of delivery. More information can be obtained by contacting your local customs office.

How are international shipments sent?

We offer two options to you for delivery

1) Indian registered post – 3-5 weeks for delivery

2) UPS – upto 7 days

The cost for delivery is calculated at checkout, basis the order & courier service and notified before payment.

How do I track my order?

In case of UPS, we will provide the tracking number for your package once the order is shipped. However when the shipment is sent through Indian Registered Post, we do not get a tracking number that can be shared.

What is the cost of domestic couriers?

Free shipping for all domestic orders. All domestic posts will be shipped via Indian registered Post. Please allow 10-15 days for delivery.

REFUND POLICY

We at I was a Sari, work hard to ensure you get the best quality from us. All I was a Sari products are made from upcycling beautiful Indian saris. Minor inconsistencies in the fabric, size can occur. Our customers consider them as a part of the product’s charm.
International orders cannot be returned or exchanged, however in case you discover a problem after delivery, we are here to help you. Please write to us at support@iwasasari.com. In such a rare case scenario, we will handle it on a case to case basis.

  • Purchase with an additional discount or promotion code are a final sale and will not be accepted for refund
  • Please allow 7 to 10 business days for the refund requests to be verified and processed. The original price of the item(s) plus any applicable tax will be credited back to your original form of payment. Shipping costs are non-refundable. If you receive a refund, the cost of return shipping will be deducted from your refund.
  • Please retain all packaging material until you’re completely satisfied with the condition and performance of your purchase.
  • If an item is damaged in shipping, a replacement item will be sent to you with no additional shipping charge. If no additional replacement items are available, you can choose an item of equal value or receive a full refund.

I received a damaged piece, can I claim a refund?

Yes, we are extremely sorry about it. Please write to us at support@iwasasari.com and we will look into it immediately

How long do refunds take to process?

They usually take between 7-10 business days.
