Gucci Equilibrium
Gucci has been supporting us since 2018 through Gucci Equilibrium, a platform to promote the brand’s sustainable and ethical goals.
Together we set up a special embroidery training program in traditional techniques for female artisans. As a result, we launched a premium line of I was a Sari products.
Our latest collection was designed in Gucci’s studio in Rome, working with their designers, as part of Gucci Changemakers volunteering program. More creative collaborations are in the pipeline.
Social partners
Community Outreach Programme (CORP) and Animedh Charitable Trust have been our partners in artisanal production and cultural fit. With CORP our first team of women started work in a safe environment that fit our local community and culture.
Today we work closely with both NGO centres situated in downtown Mumbai that are dedictaed to helping women in need and their children.
Together, we aim to uplift more women with new skills and reliable incomes so they can plan their future.
